Ministry of Education and Science has just announced new period of scholarships for students of Lithuanian language. Scholarships of Kazimieras Buga are granted to students who study Lithuanian language in foreign Universities all around the world (currently there are more than 30 centers of Baltic studies).
During the last few years, these scholarships (of 1040 Litas per month) were granted to 30 students from Universities of Czech republic, Italy, Poland, Russia, USA, Latvia, Finland, Germany and Israel. In order to get the scholarship, a student must be promoted by the University where he studies Lithuanian language (one student per institution) and suggested to Lithuanian Ministry of Education and Sciences.
